On 2 April 2023 the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization updated the Saudi Standards and Labelling (SLS) platform and gradually began accepting registration of energy efficiency labels for electric dishwashers under the new standard SASO 3029:2023. Two months earlier, Saudi Arabia had already published the new energy and water efficiency standard SASO 3029:2023 for electric dishwashers. The implementation timeline for the new standard is as follows:
-- 10 February 2023: the new standard SASO 3029:2023 for electric dishwashers was published in the Saudi Official Gazette.
