With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and the computing industry, global demand for electricity continues to grow, and green power has become a critical resource in the digital economy era. China is the world's largest producer of electricity, generating about one third of the global total, and its power equipment industry is accelerating into overseas markets.
Overseas grid conditions are complex: voltage fluctuations, harmonic interference, high and low temperature and high humidity environments, and mandatory safety and EMC requirements that differ from country to country. Equipment that has been verified as compliant in China may not adapt directly to an overseas grid environment, and any weak point can affect project delivery.
01 Third-party testing and certification: an essential step for power equipment going global
As a third-party testing body accredited by CNAS, CMA and CBTL, NTEK Group provides one-stop testing solutions for inverters, energy storage PCS, BMS, AC and DC charging piles, integrated PV-storage units, on-board power supplies and high-power power conversion equipment. Services range from R&D diagnostic testing, performance verification, environmental reliability and power quality to EMC and global market access certification.
02 Five dimensions covering the full range of power electronics testing
Electrical performance and power quality testing: power, efficiency, harmonics, voltage dips, low voltage ride-through and transient fault simulation, reproducing complex grid conditions around the world to verify how equipment performs in overseas grid environments.
Electrical safety and insulation protection: dielectric withstand, earthing protection, short circuit and overload, and residual current protection, covering mainstream Chinese and international standards such as GB, IEC, EN and UL.
Environmental and reliability testing: high and low temperature, damp heat, vibration and shock, and salt mist, simulating extreme overseas deployment scenarios such as tropical, high-altitude and coastal sites.
Full EMC verification: emission and immunity testing to assess the risk of power electronic equipment interfering with local grids and communication systems.
Grid connection, communication protocol and interoperability testing: adapted to the grid connection codes of different countries, verifying stable operation when equipment is connected to overseas grids.
03 One-stop export certification covering multiple market access regimes
Drawing on NTEK's global accreditations, we support market access certification for CB, CE, EAC, VR, SNI and other schemes. Most export pre-testing can be completed in our laboratories in China, reducing the cost of shipping prototypes overseas and shortening time to market.
04 Large-scale test facilities for high-power, large-format samples
NTEK Group has 5.2 MW of power capability, among the leading testing capabilities in the Pearl River Delta region.
Our 10 m EMC anechoic chamber is equipped with a 1,200 kW power supply and a turntable 6 metres in diameter with a 6 tonne load capacity, meeting the needs of larger and heavier samples. In addition to the 10 m chamber, NTEK Group operates nearly 30 3 m chambers.
Our 72 cubic metre chamber (8 m x 3 m x 3 m) has a floor load capacity of 5 tonnes and can accommodate large-format samples for environmental testing. Across all sizes, including the 30 cubic metre chamber, we operate more than 200 chambers.
For ingress protection testing of large samples, NTEK Group has built dust test chambers and water test systems capable of IP5X, IP6X, IPX3, IPX4, IPX5, IPX6 and IPX7 testing.
05 Mutual recognition of qualifications, serving global markets
NTEK Group holds accreditation from most domestic vehicle manufacturers and has certification channels in more than 140 countries worldwide. Our services cover the Chinese market as well as Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East and other overseas markets, providing a full chain of technical services spanning testing, certification, design remediation and standards consulting.
From failure diagnostic testing during R&D, through consistency control in mass production, to compliant delivery of overseas projects, NTEK moves quality verification upstream so that Chinese power electronics products reach global markets with complete test data behind them.
Based in China and serving the world, NTEK Detection continues to refine high-power power electronics testing technology and takes an active part in the development and revision of industry standards, supporting the global expansion of China's smart energy supply chain as an independent third-party technical partner.
