On 19 August 2026 a senior expert team from Bracert, a Brazilian OCP and OCD body, visited NTEK Group's Shenzhen headquarters at its invitation for an in-depth exchange on market access certification for Brazil. The two sides held a systematic discussion covering the latest regulatory developments in the ANATEL and INMETRO certification systems, common technical difficulties and the practical issues facing Chinese companies entering the market.
Focus on ANATEL
In the ANATEL session, the Bracert experts gave a systematic explanation of topics that companies commonly ask about, including the definition of series models, the conditions under which wireless module certificates apply, and cybersecurity compliance requirements. On the recent adjustment of the Wi-Fi 6 GHz band range, the experts advised companies whose certificates still cover the old bands to begin certificate renewal or difference testing as early as possible so that products on sale remain compliant. The experts also shared the latest information on the direction and expected timing of ANATEL's new labelling proposal.
Focus on INMETRO
In the INMETRO session, the Bracert experts outlined the basic structure of the certification system, focusing on how international mutual recognition of test reports differs between product categories and on the mandatory annual factory audit and sample testing under the Model 5 route, helping companies plan certification budgets and milestones more accurately.
NTEK's one-stop certification capability
The Bracert team visited NTEK's Shenzhen headquarters and its main laboratories, and spoke highly of NTEK's test equipment, technical capability and quality management system. As host of the exchange, NTEK has built a fairly complete service chain for Brazilian certification. On ANATEL, NTEK works closely with local Brazilian laboratories on a long-term basis, offering competitive testing prices and optimised scheduling that effectively shorten the overall certification cycle. On INMETRO, IEC reports issued by NTEK's laboratories are recognised by OCP and can be used directly to apply for INMETRO certificates for household appliances; NTEK also holds official INMETRO authorisation to conduct factory audits, enabling one-stop testing, reporting and auditing that saves companies the cost of coordinating with multiple parties.
NTEK will continue to deepen cooperation with Bracert and other authoritative Brazilian bodies, and to provide timely, accurate regulatory interpretation and certification support for Chinese brands going global.
