What is Korea KCC certification
KCC: Korea Communication Commission
In accordance with Article 33 of the Basic Law on Electrical Communications of Korea, and Articles 46 and 57 of the Radio Wave Law, a broadcasting and communications equipment certification system has been established. All products specified in Article 3 should be KCC certified in advance.
The KCC mark evolved from the MIC mark. As the Korea Communications Commission (KCC) replaced the previous Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC), the certification name was changed accordingly. KCC came into effect on November 11, 2008 and will evolve into the KC logo on January 1, 2011.
KCC addresses the electromagnetic compatibility requirements of information products and regulates the certification of wireless transmission and communication products, including products including electrical communication equipment, radio frequency products, and information technology equipment.
The KCC mark is a certification mark issued by the Korea Radio Research Agency (RRA).
