On 7 March 2023 the Mexican radio regulator, the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT), officially published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) the specification entitled Technical operating conditions for the 5925-6425 MHz frequency band.
In addition to designating 5925-6425 MHz as an unregulated band, the new specification defines the technical operating conditions for low power and very low power systems in this band as follows:
