Damp heat testing comprises steady-state damp heat testing and cyclic damp heat testing. The high-low temperature alternating damp heat test is an essential test item in aviation, automotive, home appliance and research applications. It is used to test and determine the parameters and performance of electrical, electronic and other products and materials after exposure to high temperature, low temperature, alternating damp heat or steady-state temperature environments.
For example: temperature differences between day and night, different humidity levels at different temperatures and times, and products passing through regions with different temperature and humidity conditions during transportation. Such alternating temperature and humidity environments affect product performance and life and accelerate product ageing. If a product is exposed to such conditions for a long time, it must have sufficient resistance to alternating damp heat.
