Impact (bump) testing uses a bump test bench to simulate the mechanical impact environment a product experiences during use, transportation and unloading. Under repetitive mechanical impacts, it verifies the product's adaptability and the integrity of its structure. It is applicable to electronic devices, instruments and meters, and other packaged mechanical and electrical equipment.
The impact test can set the test duration, shock frequency and bump frequency according to customer requirements. Impact testing is used to evaluate the impact strength of transport packages subjected to repeated mechanical impacts during transportation and the ability of the packaging to protect the contents. The severity of the test depends on the distance, road conditions, mode of transport and transport time.
