Regulated products exported to Morocco must comply with Moroccan technical regulations and standards and obtain a COC certificate for smooth customs clearance and market entry. For regulated products requiring a COC before export, traders must verify the products before export and obtain a COC certificate of conformity demonstrating compliance with Moroccan technical regulations and standards.
Previously Morocco applied a transitional policy under which, for some products without a COC certificate of conformity before export, the Moroccan government accepted inspection and verification after arrival at port. This transitional policy ended on 31 December 2020.
