BICMA is the Bhutan Information Communications and Media Authority, a unified regulator responsible for the information, communications and media sectors in Bhutan. All communication equipment entering Bhutan requires an import technical licence, i.e. BICMA certification. BICMA certification is mandatory, requires no local testing, requires a local agent, and the certificate remains valid as long as the regulations are unchanged.
